Un-cloud Your Thoughts and Inspire Your Life
Hi Friends,
We often find ourselves looking for ways to cope, deal and process our life and sometimes get caught up in creative blocks. It can be overwhelming for creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs to keep up with producing content, products, and offerings.
Sometimes as creatives, we can get clouded with our thoughts due to unforeseen circumstances. Many distractions can keep us from being in a state of flow. Whenever I lose motivation or lack creativity, I always reflect on the things that help me rebalance my thoughts and energy.
This past week was extremely draining with the solar flares and heavy energy shifts. So I decided that to get balanced and energized; I needed to remove some of the distractions keeping me drained.
The best place personally for me is Nature.
There are some other great ways to uncloud your thoughts and get back to being your creative self:
Be like a kid! (yes, have fun. Be spontaneous)
Get lost in a good book!
Go to a museum or art exhibit.
These are just a few ways to help you break out of the merry-go-round you have found yourself on. Sometimes breaking routine can be refreshing for creators, especially when there’s a lot of pressure to produce content, post consistently, and be visible.
Remember never to lose that spark that makes you who you are. Sometimes that requires us to get back to our roots.
One of the best places to return to your roots is a familiar place within Nature that reminds you of childlike wonder, adventure, and freedom.
While pressure can be good, it can also overwhelm and dull the senses to the point where we become entrapped in our perfectionism or idealism of what we should be doing and how we show up in our daily lives.
Think about a time when you felt completely at peace and at ease.
Where was this?
Nature?
Think about it. Scientists have proven the many benefits of Nature to one’s overall wellness.
For instance, Nature provides a clouded mind space, peace, and tranquility. Inspiration pours from every branch, tree, bird, and cloud passing above. Immersing ourselves in an environment that cleanses our body, mind, and spirit can be the proper reset.
It is easy to get caught up in the stress of life and pressure to fit into a perfect cookie-cutter image of living life and being an influencer. To those of you on your creative journey, it is always essential to regrind your energy with grounding practices.
I was blessed to visit one of New England's oldest bogs and immerse myself in its beauty.
Sometimes that simple reset can bring your heart, mind, and spirit back into alignment with your truth, wisdom, and personal impact within our ever-growing world.
How are you showing up for yourself?
