September is Self Love

Hello friends its a new month and a new opportunity to readjust and realign.

As I started to organize how I wanted to write this blog post, a few things happened….

I had a week full of vivid dreams, and on the last day of August, I woke up at 5 a.m. to a very bright blue moon. The dream had symbology that put things into perspective.

  • I am a healer

  • I am a Shaman

  • I know my path

Have you realized your missing signs and synchronicities? Did you take the subtle cues and signs the universe sends you?

The same goes for your self-love. There will be the nagging inner dialogue of “I do not feel good.” or “I am just too busy.” The truth is we justify putting off our self-love, healing, and opportunities to heal with excuses. You may think I am insensitive to those struggling with depression, anxiety, and other issues. In retrospect, I have also worked with those things and an autoimmune disease. I have had those days, too. However, we are strong, beautiful, and capable beings. That’s why I am dedicating each September to the awareness of self-love.

Each faces their crisis and dilemmas regardless of age and race. We feel the heaviness of complying or denying. The same goes for our abilities to make important choices regarding our worth, value, and healing. What’s kept you from making space and restoring your body to optimal health, vitality, and energy?

The catalyst for our self-love can’t come from movies, television, or a meme. It needs to be fueled by your reignited passion to live, breathe, and be comfortable in your skin. For years, I struggled with depression and suicide. Systemically, these trauma, pain, and self-worth issues took me to very dark places. How did I work through it? It was hard, I failed and made mistakes, and I sabotaged alot of relationships in the process—one of those is with myself. I sacrificed my authenticity and worth for temporary satisfaction.

Learning to love the wounded and weathered parts of your psyche and body is part of the personal journey of self-discovery and self-love. Everything intersects and connects dots we never imagined possible. We meet people who change our idea of how we love and show up. The resistance to embrace those healthier versions of oneself needs to be predicated by courage and strength to be present. Sometimes, we focus on past pains and the unknown future to distract us from the truth.

It’s time to ground yourself.

The time to begin this newfound self-love journey begins today!

Let this blog post be the spark you need to be more disciplined with allocating time for self-care and adjusting some mental/emotional, and physical goals to feel more connected, healthier, and more robust. Your Overall self-love can improve your energy, especially the “Astral layer” associated with the heart chakra. Some root issues begin at an energetic level, requiring us to see past the 3D idea of traditional treatment. If we only realized that death was a natural progression of life, we could alleviate a lot of wounds affecting our connection with our spiritual team. I learned along my spiritual journey that the heart is the doorway between the physical and the spiritual. As a Shaman, I tend to walk between different worlds, and the deeper I went with healing my grief, inner child traumas, and anger, my heart began to open, and my connections to both humans and the spiritual got deeper. No matter the reason or cause for your quest for a better sense of self-love, it’s essential to do it for you! Sometimes, we want to love ourselves more for others, like our children and spouses, but to be honest; this can lead to disappointment and failure because the pressures of others’ expectations can leave us defeated. Take this month to be selfish; Revel in a few extra minutes a day doing something for yourself without guilt, shame, or regret.

YOU DESERVE TO CELEBRATE YOU

Trust the path, and remember you are worth it.

Elise xoxo
