New Year; Balanced Path
Making space to create a life that is more balanced and harmonious looks different for everyone.
The New Year resolutions start buzzing and this fire within starts to ignite. With the changing of the year comes many traditions, practices and beliefs. This New Year comes just after a second New Moon in one month.
Energies are intense so no matter what you believe or choose to celebrate remember this energy can be a driving force to get your New Year plans, intentions, and goals started. Journalling, reflection, and release are all great practices for making space and guiding your plans into order.
One of my favorite practices around the New Year is Deep cleaning my home, decluttering, and organizing sacred space. In addition to getting the home in order we cannot forget our mental space. Sometimes fun creative projects like a vision board can help make space to put our ideas to work. Think of a goal or intention you would like to put into action.
Got magazines or other art supplies?
Make it fun and invite your friends or family to join in! Remember that teamwork, including accountability buddies, can be a big help.
Take some inspiration and start a new hobby, learn a language, or discover some new beliefs. Personally, I have been really drawn to learning more about the Chinese Zodiac.
I included some resources below to get you started! 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake, a great time to uncover more about your intuition. Life is full of inspiration, wisdom, and opportunity, so please use this time wisely to create the life that you deserve.

Think about the quality you want to create in your life versus the quantity of things. Sometimes we need to simplify our life and that means letting go and making space mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. No longer making excuses or enabling but building relationships and foundations with purpose, passion, and meaning.
No matter how you choose to plan or celebrate the year ahead please remember to respect your boundaries and live in your truth.
